Welcome to the new Glassblowing House restaurant and bar, now
open from 9am to 10pm (9:30pm on Sundays), with its stunning
interior and waterfront views overlooking the harbour; undoubtedly
the place to wine and dine on the water’s edge on the famous
Barbican in Plymouth.
The Glassblowing House is probably one of the city's best known
landmarks with beautiful views overlooking Sutton Harbour Formally
The Dartington Glassblowing workshop, the building itself has
won numerous design and heritage awards.
The 70-cover restaurant comes complete with many interesting
and inspiring local works of art, a theatre style kitchen and
some of the finest contemporary British cooking.
Head Chef Scott Williams has produced a truly tempting menu
offering. Choose from our morning coffee & brunch menu, our
lunch menu, afternoon tea menu or our dinner menu and if you
are here on Sunday try our amazing traditional Sunday lunch.
Alternatively, pop in and try one of our new cocktails or if
you want to design your own cocktail our mixoligist will help
create it for you.
The menu reflects the very best local produce that Devon and
the surrounding South West counties have to offer. We have a
specials menu which changes daily to enable us to use only the
freshest, local produce – the chips are hand-cut and we even
bake our own bread, cakes, Pain Au Chocolat and brownies; all
of which our chefs take great pride in.
We are committed to offering you outstanding value for money
that you simply will not be able to beat; just look at our menus.
We do this by buying direct from the boats, farmers and producers,
and by offering you a choice of menus and dishes to suit every
occasion we are totally focused on ensuring you enjoy a friendly,
informal, relaxed and memorable experience.
We are open 7 days a week from 9am to 10pm (9:30pm on Sundays)
