“I can't believe it...” Katekitt 17 Mar 2010

This place is such a lovely addition to the barbican! Have eaten here a few times and the food has always been flawless. The new lunch menu (especially the gorgeous open sandwiches with fries) is AMAZING value too! And you can't beat the decor and view anywhere else I've seen in Plymouth.

“Excellent” Hayes252 Cornwall 7 Mar 2010

Saturday lunch, we had a table for two in the window. Staff excellent along with the food, we had starters and main, the best fish cake I have ever had, and the fish soup was just like in France. The whole sole was cook to perfection and my Chicken was lovely. We will be back. Keep us the good work.

We've been there twice for lunch in the last month and have had a great experience. The food is beautifully cooked, well presented and very tasty. The service has been very good. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

"One of the VERY Best in Plymouth"
- Brianngog Plymouth 7 May 2010

We have now been to GBH three times over a three month period and each time has been superb. Food was cracking from a Traditional Sunday Roast to a simple midweek lunch. The food was well cooked, very well presented and excellent value for money in an environment and location which is second to none. With an excellent selection of wines and a well stocked Bar, the Draught Peroni kept particularly well. Also for any Drivers who dine there is a good selection of Soft Drinks.

If you are visiting Plymouth make a point of a trip to The Barbican and a Meal at GBH. The food starts with Traditional Breakfast moves to both Brunch and Lunch and onto Afternoon Tea and finally Evening Meal. An unusual choice throughout the day whatever the taste takes you. Try the Locally caught Fish.....melt in the mouth.

"Excellent Cuisine, Excellent Location, Excellent Service" chris55 Plymouth 20 April 2010

Excellent Cuisine Excellent Location Excellent Service. The dining experience equaled that of the Michael Caines' Restaurant at Exeter. We shall return with additional guests… Thank you and keep up the standards. Nice relaxing ambiance

“Brill Food in a Brill Location!!” ShopoholicDevon Devon 29 Jan 2010

Had a lovely meal with a friend at the glass blowing house! Huge portions, which I had no problem eating every last bit as was very tasty! Gammon was good!! Lovely atmosphere and fast efficient and friendly service! There were all sorts of people eating there, from couples to groups which looked like birthdays.

All in all I would highly recommend with a classy yummy meal!
